I just love all the colors in these bouquets! Our couple, Kristin and Frank, were married in May and wanted to combined the colors, yellow and lavender/purple with accents of spring colors of pinks, light greens, and pale blue. We combined calla lilly, iris, tulips, sweet pea, freesia, roses, lisianthus, viburnum, stock, lavender, and delphinium.
Happy TBT!! Now that the wedding season is slowing down I have sometime to catch up on my blogging, and I will be post previous wedding that I enjoyed designing. Here is one of the weddings that I designed way back for Julie and Jessie. Back in 2009, that is 5 years ago!
Christine was referred by one of my previous bride, and we just hit it off well in our initial consultation meeting. Christine and Nate needed my services in floral design and day of coordinating. And it was a pleasure working with them. They both are the sweeties and loving couples.
One of my favorite weddings!! A romantic and classic wedding in a beautiful castle. Reminds me one of those princess story, and Katie truly had a perfect princess wedding.
Katie and Tim were married on September 20, 2013 at the beautiful Saint Clement Castle in Portland, CT. Katie wanted the wedding to be very classic and minimum color. We kept the red in the bridesmaids bouquets but all of the flowers from the bridal bouquet to ceremony down to the reception were white, ivory, cream and accent of green. Roses, orchids, callas, ranunculus, hydrangeas and green amaranths were use in the design.
Thank Goodness It’s Flower Friday!! Lets talk about the beauty of garden roses. Now, don’t be confuse with the standard (hybrid) roses that you see everywhere in floral shops, markets and grocer stores. These beauties are large, high petal count, rosette shape blooms with a beautiful fragrance.
Melissa and Matt were married on August 2, 2013 at the Riverview in Simsbury, CT. Melissa was referred to me from one of my previous bride, Nicole, and we just hit it off!! I loved all her ideas, her vision and overall her enthusiastic about having flowers for her wedding…. and she’s absolutely the sweetest person
